Privacy Policy

WaveMotion is operated by Ozan Tunca, registered in Berlin, Germany, who is responsible for your data. Questions: [email protected].

The music visualizer stays on your device

In the studio, your song, stems, images, lyrics and project are read and stored in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage). MP4 export runs on your computer. We do not upload that audio to make the visualizer, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the studio.

Information we collect

How we use information

Service providers

We do not sell your personal information. The studio does not send your song to a processor. The website uses PostHog in the EU for product analytics, Sentry for error reports, and our hosting provider to serve the site. Each processes data under its own terms.

Retention

Studio projects live in your browser until you delete them. We do not hold a server copy to erase. Analytics and error logs are kept by those providers for a limited time. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle the request.

Cookies and local storage

WaveMotion uses local storage and similar browser storage to keep your studio project, remember interface choices, and measure usage (PostHog). If you block storage, the studio may not be able to restore a project, and parts of the site may not work.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of your personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, write to [email protected]. For a studio project stored only on your device, deleting the site data in your browser removes it.

Children

WaveMotion is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
